You only ever see the end result.
The t-shirt hanging on a rail, or folded into a mailing bag when it lands on your doorstep.

Most clothing now is made to move fast. It’s designed far away from where it’s produced, with little connection to the hands that created it.

We’ve always felt there’s a difference between something that’s mass produced, and something made with care.

Keith’s been in the studio today prepping screens, setting everything up by hand and enjoying the ritual of it all.

It’s slower, and it would definitely be easier to do things another way, but we love being close to the process. The tiny imperfections, the extra details, the human part of it.. those are the bits we care about.

We’ll be sharing more behind the scenes bits from the studio this year too ✨

A little look at the Captain design in more detail.
This has been our most popular design from the Bangarang drop so far.

I’ve really enjoyed working with you all to create this drop, and I’ve received so many messages from you about how much you’ve enjoyed seeing all of it coming together, from the drawings to the finished designs, so we’ll try and share more for future drops too.

There’s just over a week left to order yours, then we start making these in little batches so we can keep the quality really high.
I’m planning to share a lot more of the making process for you this time too 🪝🏴‍☠️🐊⏰

We adore Sir Dave over here. He’s just a master storyteller with his gentle soothing narration, and his passionate and charming way of educating about the planet.
He’s been there through our whole lives and I can remember becoming absolutely obsessed with penguins in first school after his life in the freezer documentary!

My first ever portrait design for my shop was this David Attenborough print and I had so many conversations at markets when I started out, so I’ve brought it back at a discount for all fellow fans 💚

AH! Who else is excited for this drop tonight?

We have 4 designs going live tonight for just two weeks. We are finding it really hard to choose a favourite from amongst these as they’ve all got something different we completely love.

How it’s made, from finish to start!
A look at a little of the process of this new 2 colour print.
…and would you look at our new longy! Dark green baseball long sleeve (organic) top, with cuffed sleeves and a creamy base. It’s lightweight and soft and just looks so cool. This is our new absolute favourite, and the lost boys design is the perfect pairing.

A bit of the behind the scenes prepping and printing the new Never Grow Up design dropping Sunday night as part of our Bangarang Limited Edition 🏴‍☠️

We put so much time, detail and hard work into these drops, but the finished pieces are so good, it feels worth it. We really hope they become some of your favourite items in your wardrobe that you just cherish for years to come 🖤

This one is a 2 colour screen print and this is how it’ll come:
-White premium tee. Front print
-Cool longy. Back print + front embroidery 🏴‍☠️
-Heath over head hoody. Back print, skull sleeve print + front embroidery

We are fighting over who gets to keep this one. It’s tricky having the same designs on stuff as a husband and wife. Once we met for dinner in the city after doing separate stuff all day and we turned up wearing the same T-shirt 🙈

This drop is going down as the most tedious to draw (ringlets + tree bark 🫠) but the most satisfying finished drawings.
We are printing the first samples tomorrow and planning to launch the drop on Thursday night.

There are 4 main designs.. with all the extras, and I’ve spent more time on the artwork for these than any previous limited edition.. and in a twist of fate, as a result of all the drawing, my hand is now like a claw / hook 🪝😂

I’m excited for this design in particular, but this may be the first drop where I keep one of everything. I really wanted an adventurous feeling, Boy Scout sorta vibe with this design, and I’m v excited for the front embroidery too!

Only avail with front print on black tees :)
Our pals are printing these for us using discharge ink (so the ink is soft + long lasting). We don’t have a whopping piece of equipment needed for discharge printing, so we outsource these!
