IT HAS TO HAPPEN
My decision has been made.
After being self employed for over 38 years buying & selling records, CD's & music ephemera.
I have decided that Sunday night 12th July 27 is the right time for the shop to become PERMANANTLY CLOSED.
This is so that I can restructure the way I trade, as I definately need to be prepared for my own semi-retirement by October 2027.
During that time the mail order side of the business will continue as usual, as will click & collect.
If you have an instore credit, shop voucher or trade in arrangement, then the balances due will still be honoured, so please contact me on 07990 618293 so we can discuss the best outcome.
Furthermore, I will continue to buy collections & individual items from clients in the same way that I have done in the past.
Don't dispare, I am not disappearing, I will still be about as I thoroughly enjoy doing this job, you cant get rid of me that easily,
I will be pottering around the shop on weekdays doing all of the above for probably another year.
Plus the Canary Club Events will continue as usual as we have dates booked all the way through to December 2027
Once I have completed what needs to be arranged, then I may reopen my doors once a month on a Saturday perhaps ones to coincide with the dates for the VIP Record Fairs in Norwich.
FINALLY
I have been very fortunate & am very grateful to have worked with & met some fantastic people, many who have become long term friends & close aquaintences. The past 38 years has been a journey with so many experiences, plenty of drama, a variety of emotions, so many tales, I have been told I could write a decent book !.
This journey hasn't finished yet by any means,
JUST CHANGING things around, with the view to be an even better one.
