Today, one chapter of the Norwich Cauldron story came to an end as we had our last 'proper' day at the shop.

But don't despair, you can still buy online on our website, with free delivery if you arrange to collect from the shop. And who knows, we may spoil you with some online sales in the run-up to Christmas!

Thank you to everyone who has visited us, from Luxembourg, Germany, Australia and even deepest, darkest Lancashire. And to our lovely friends and neighbours from this fine city: always stay magical!

Everything must go, in our grand closing down sale!

It would be simply fabulous if we could sell all our stock before we close on Sunday afternoon. Would it help if we gave you 50% off all stock in-store this weekend? Oh, go on then!

Closing down sale!

We're launching our closing down sale this weekend with 30% off all stock in store.

The following weekend will be our last, with discounts of up to 50% on any remaining stock. Pop in to grab a bargain for Halloween or Christmas, but don't delay - stock is flying off the shelves!

🪄 20% off all wands this weekend! 🪄

It's starting to look a bit empty at Norwich Cauldron as we sell through our final stock. We do still have quite a few wands left, though, so we're offering 20% off all wands in store this weekend!

If it's Luna or Harry's wand you're after, make sure you hurry as we only have a few left. We also have Draco, Ron and Hermione's wands, but unfortunately we've sold out of Sirius' wand and the Elder wand.

We'll be open on Saturday from 10am to 5pm, with a short break for lunch, then on Sunday from 11am to 4pm. We hope to see you!

Read on for details of our reduced opening hours in September.

We've had a cracking summer holiday, thanks to our wonderful customers. It's been sad knowing that our closure is on the horizon, but you keep us smiling.

That being said, we are pooped and we need a rest! We will be open Tuesday 5 September, then closed until Saturday 16 September.

From then onwards, it's likely that we will only be open on weekends and by appointment. We're still waiting to find out if a new tenant will be moving into the shop, so we don't know exactly when we will be closing, but we will let you know as soon as we have a date.

If you want to come and see us on a weekday, just drop us a message to make an appointment. And don't forget, you can shop online and collect in-store during our opening hours for free!

Prove that you're ready to go Back to Hogwarts with our final quiz trail around NR3!

Here are some tips to help you plan your adventure:

🚂 Collect your free trail map from Norwich Cauldron on Friday 1 September.
🚂 Using the map, seek out the eight questions located around NR3.
🚂 Write the answers to each question on your trail map. Some of the questions are easy, others are almost as tricky as Potions Class!
🚂 When you've finished, use the first letters of all eight answers to spell out a word.
🚂 Bring your completed trail map back to Norwich Cauldron by 5pm on Friday for money off in-store and online, and a chance to win our beloved Sorting Hat!

We have recommended a 2km route around NR3 to help you find the questions, but you can choose to forge your own path. The destinations include some of Norwich's best parks and cafes, so be sure to leave time to stop along the way.

If we have maps to spare, we may continue the trail through the weekend, but because we failed Divination class I'm afraid we can't make any promises!
