There are people who become part of the story without even realising it.

Marcella arrived at Emporium Norwich when she was only 15 years old, shy, quiet and taking her very first steps into the working world. Today, at 17, she is still the sweet and gentle girl we met, but now with so much more confidence, maturity and light within her.

Even working only a few weekends each month, she became such a special part of our team. Always caring, loving and dedicated in every little detail, always trying her best to make each experience feel welcoming and kind.

Watching young people grow inside our small business is something very emotional for us. Behind every coffee served, every chocolate prepared and every smile at the till, there are stories, challenges, learning moments and so much personal growth happening quietly behind the scenes.

Our young team members are constantly balancing studies, responsibilities, personal challenges and the pressure of learning something completely new. And even with all of that, they continue showing up and giving their best every single day.

We are so proud of Marcella and of the beautiful person she is becoming. Thank you for being part of our journey, for your kindness, your dedication and for growing alongside us.

And to everyone who visits us: thank you for always supporting and encouraging our young team with patience, kindness and understanding. It truly means more than you know.
