Some start on the bank of a lake.

For Ki, fishing wasn't just a hobby—it was a way to quiet the noise. As someone with autism, being outdoors and waiting for that bite brought a sense of calm that nothing else could.

Working as a bike mechanic taught him something unexpected: precision matters. The same attention to detail that goes into building an engine could be used to create better bait.

So he started experimenting.

Different ingredients. Different colours. Different presentations. Not to build a business... just to catch more carp on his local waters.

Then something happened.

Other anglers started noticing the results.

They wanted to know what he was using.

One conversation became another. A few bags of homemade bait turned into more requests. Before long, KC Baits was born.
