Space on your mancave wall? I have an original WW2 Home front poster and advertisement for Guinness which might fill them.

As I will be having a bit of a decorate soon these two ladies have come off my wall and are heading into the centre tomorrow. In plaster by the company of Leonardi they are typically Art Deco.
some of you know I was partial to a cocktail and all the accoutrements that go with it. I have a selection of Cocktail shakers available in the centre and I also have a variety of cocktail stick holders, many from 1930s France. This little lifeboat man in chrome is my latest
How about this silver plated "weight". Biscuit box or this stylish coffee set and tray.
I will be adding a few more badges including a nice Gorleston super Holiday camp badge and an Isle of Man TT badge.
If I can find space I may try and add some more ink wells to some of my earlier pieces.
I am away for another of my auction pick ups soon so look out for a very mixed batch heading in ,in a couple of weeks!!

Did any of you spot All Saints Antiques Centre on the BBC Antiques Road trip on Wednesday? It gave a good impression of the size of the place and our range of stock. Izzy Balmer was in and made a couple of purchases which did her well at auction! Available to view on the BBC iPlayer.
Lots of new visitors to the centre today, some of whom had walked past us for years but never stepped inside before. Well worth a visit as the stock changes all the time.My auction house pick ups this week include a nice Victorian Percussion cap pistol.
A selection of 1/76 scale die cast buses and trams, and although too late for this week yet more whistles! Mostly escargot (like the snails) type there are a few assorted railway ones as shown heading in next week.
Not mine, but also available in the centre this week , is a rather fetching safe but please don't expect me to carry it to your car!!!

The search for new stock continues apace. I did manage to pick up a couple of nice whistles. The Osbourne's Borough Whistle is nicely named for Chamberlin and Smith Pheasant Food Makers Norwich and dates to the late 19th /early 20th century. A 1916 marked escargot whistle will also head in tomorrow.
The price of Gold has risen dramatically recently but Gold sovereigns remain popular, if somewhat expensive! This Queen Victoria old head coin is being sold at a little over scrap value.
Found a couple more of these antique pewter owl pepperettes or pounce pots which I am sure will soon fly away!
In the category of militaria I shall be bringing in an 1860 percussion cap Tower carbine, in very nice condition so do come and have a look. Also more sword sticks to go along with my large selection of Walking canes and sticks

Well the Auction season has resumed and I can bring you the first selection of new stock for 2026.Heading in tomorrow are a selection of badges which will include WW2 home front, Police and military. Some nice rarities amongst them including an impressive cap badge for the Norwich Union Insurance Societies and a Boy Scout Car Badge
As silver items are in great demand it has been difficult to pick up much but I was able to add a few novelty Vesta Cases which will go with my usual selection.
For devotees of Sharp Pointy things we have a nice Third Reich Police Dress Bayonet, nicely marked. Excellent condition although one stag horn grip looks to be a replacement. Also following on from the US Navy Machete which sold recently I have a British Army equivalent. With Crows foot marking and 1943 date, another rare piece.
Coins remain popular and particularly good quality collectors pieces.I do have one 1899 Queen Victoria "Old head" gold Sovereign but be aware it is being sold as a collectors coin not just as bullion.
For Jewellery fans I have a small selection of Silver and amber pieces and another popular piece of original Tiffany & Co with its bag ,box and ribbon (RRP £935). Valentine's Day is just around the corner and several of our dealers have pieces to meet all prices.
Lastly for collectors of Militaria is a nice framed award citation and badges and medals for the French Paratroops in Algeria in the early 1960s.
If I can squeeze them onto the pitch I may also have more pub jugs!!

A Happy New Year to all Customers, old and new. After a busy Christmas period I need to start restocking once the Auction Houses resume business. I have a few items heading in tomorrow with(Surprise, Surprise!) a couple of walking sticks and a nice bamboo Sword Stick. I have a selection of Native knives including a Shona Brass wire work example, and a 19th Century Pesh Kabaz knife as well as an unusual kukri type blade on a stag horn handle?? Often underrated these make an interesting collecting theme.
As part of my varied buying I often come across items which lead to new areas of research. The small Walking out canes or "Swagger Sticks" are often seen in military photographs from WW1 and usually bear the regimental badge of the soldiers unit. This one was unknown to me and simply bears the monogram NCC, which I thought might relate to a County Constabulary. A friend was able to correct me that it is in fact for the Non Combatant Corps, a unit of Conscientious Objectors who replaced soldiers in non fighting roles. Yet another rabbit hole. for me to explore!
As the proud owner of a set of Beswick ducks flying up my own kitchen wall at home I always like a wall plaque. Coming in tomorrow are a blue Tit, Humming Bird and a Duck. I'm sure they will be flying off the shelves quickly.
If you have particular collecting themes you would like me to hunt in 2026 do please let me know as I do like a challenge.

We have been busy but are open today and tomorrow until 5pm. We open again on Saturday and this Sunday so if you are visiting the antiques fair at the Forum Norwich do drop by?

Things are busying up in the run up to Christmas. The centre is nicely decorated with a festive feel, (indoor ice is optional!!) thanks to Charlie & Sandy. We have a wide range of dealers with lots of different gift ideas that might just inspire. I have a few pieces to bring in tomorrow to add to my stock, including some nice Lalique figurines, an original Clarice Cliff Autumn Crocus trio and a variety of badges including several Regimental Sweetheart brooches and a WW2 home front Hi**er Hate Club .
The prize piece of the week is a large chunk of Brass advertising the Norwich Union Insurance Societies. As we are literally a stones throw from the Aviva headquarters, it really is a case of an item coming home(and no I didn't unscrew it from our neighbours wall!)
Watch out for more Militaria coming soon in the form of more Swords, bayonets and edged weapons.
