It's a precarious time of year for hedgehogs🦔 🔥 If you are having a bonfire or attending an event which includes a bonfire, please ask the organiser to follow this advice:

1) MOVE the materials to clear ground on the day they’re to be lit, then
2) CHECK the pile carefully just before striking that match, and finally
3) OFFER an escape route by only lighting from one side.

If you're starting to miss easy access to some of your favourite vegan products, never fear! It's possible to set up an account as an individual and order direct from .wholesaler via https://veganwholesaler.com/new-account/
You'll find some favourites there including the chorizo space bars (always a top seller!), Green Vie Parveggio, Veggyness bacon and I Am Nut Ok cheeses. Vegan Wholesaler is vegan-owned, ethical and offers next day delivery. They only sell 100% vegan products (so none of the 'may contain traces...'). We worked with them for 6 years and they were always one of our absolute favourite suppliers. We'll be posting about some of our other favourite suppliers over the next few weeks too. UPDATE - All items gone / reserved apart from £10 coffee table, the free plastic flowers and the free reusable ice packs. Wowzers!!

I'm still busy clearing out LSOV 💔 and have some items free to collect and some shop fittings to sell. If anything takes your fancy I'll be here until 4pm today, 12noon-5pm Thurs and 11am-3pm Fri. We've almost sold out of stock so I'm bringing our closing date forward to tomorrow!
Open 11-4 today (Weds) and 11-5 tomorrow (Thurs).
I will still be around on Friday though (lots of selling of equipment and clearing out to be done over the next fortnight) so do still knock if you're passing and want to say goodbye 😢 Thank you again so much from me, and from Ed too, for all your support since we opened way back in 2016 in Magdalen Street. Wow! Thank you for making last week one of our busiest ever! Stock has been flying out so I'm now down to one fridge and a few shelves. To help with the final clearance there is now 10% OFF EVERYTHING (discount applied at the till). We still have plenty of pick n mix, chocolate and other treats with a long date so stock up while you can xx

Dear customers, as many of you already know, the time has come for me to close the doors of LSOV and move on to adventures new. My last day of trading will be Sat 15th April.

I had hoped to stay open but factors like the rapid increase in availability of vegan food in supermarkets (great for veganism, not so great for indie shops!) mean I'm feeling the pinch more than ever.

I've had a wonderful almost-7 years running this little vegan business and I'm so grateful to have been able to make a living doing something I love.
