hello Everyone!
I will be opening the NARNIA READATHON with the first reading-aloud one-hour time-slot on TUESDAY 7th April at 10am! And then other readers will take over for the day ...
And then I will be reading again on Friday 10th at 11am for one hour, and on Saturday 11th at 1.30pm for one hour - but again, the event runs from 10am-3pm so there will be a mix of me with other readers through the day ...

Anyone who would like to come down to the FISHER THEATRE in BUNGAY and hear me and the others reading the NARNIA book series aloud is most welcome, as are all donations which can be made on the DONATIONS button on the Fisher Theatre website, or by ringing their Box Office number 01986897130 during office hours 10am-3pm [not Sundays]

Hello Everyone!

I am volunteering to be one of the team of readers for the NARNIA fundraising Readathon at the The Fisher Theatre in BUNGAY, Suffolk, on some of the days of this week-long event! I've loved the NARNIA stories all my reading life - and it will be a huge pleasure to read chapters of the seven books aloud to help the Fisher Theatre raise funds - which like all venues who receive little or no funding other than from donations, subscriptions etc could always use more money!

Hope you are all having a good month - Spring Equinox is in a week hurrah! And Norwich is 'greening up' as the willows, birch and beech begin to unfurl leaves, the blackthorn is in flower, so are magnolia and plum - and the city has been spread with banks of snowdrops last month and crocuses, and now daffodils and narcissi - - so here at least Winter is passing into Spring ... Even if in the opening chapters of THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE it's still Winter ..

We have been deeply focused on reorganising the shop as we build our new website, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone both online and in-store.

With the return of the light, we are slowly feeling our energy renew as the sun awakens from winter’s rest. Just this morning, I was greeted by the beautiful sight of sunlight kissing the fields, a reminder of the new life beginning to emerge all around us.

This month is set to be a busy and exciting one, starting with Imbolc tomorrow, followed by Valentine’s Day on February 14th, and Chinese New Year, welcoming the Year of the Horse, on February 17th. To mark these occasions, we have prepared a selection of unique items in the shop, including jewellery and other special pieces featuring horse symbols, as well as spectacular gifts for Valentine’s Day.

As we prepare for these celebrations, we would love to hear about your own plans or experiences for the season. Your continued support means so much to us, and we hope our offerings help make these events even more special for you. Please feel free to visit in-store to explore our latest collections and join in the festivities.

What a year it’s been! For those of you who follow the Chinese New Year, you’ll appreciate the significance of shedding old skin in the Year of the Snake. It’s certainly been challenging, but there have been some great moments too. Taking over a business is one of the most demanding experiences anyone can go through, yet here we are, nearly seven months in, and I couldn’t be happier.

As we move into the new year, symbolised by the Fire Horse, we’re looking forward to transformation, rapid progress, and lots of activity. I have an upcoming talk on the 11th of January at the Pagan Moot on Silver Road, where I’ll be sharing more about my plans for the shop, both as a retailer and a support hub. I’m truly honoured to have this opportunity to attend and speak.

I’m constantly overwhelmed with joy by the support from all of you. Your warm welcome has made this transition absolutely amazing and ultimately brilliant. Thank you, everyone, for making this possible. I wish you all success, love, prosperity, and abundance in whatever form you need for 2026.

- Monday, 5th January: Normal hours resume

Please note that we will be closed on Sundays throughout January and February for some much-needed rest, but we will resume our Sunday openings by mid to late February.
