What is the Communities Fair?
A free event to bring together external community groups, charities, etc. To support students to build a community outside of the university, to integrate into Norwich, and support UEA and the SU to build Civic Connections.

Closed Next Friday 2nd October

We will be busy getting out new apprentice settled in and trained up on Friday, so we will not be open for repairs, sales or DIY repairs.

The 24hr pump will still be accessible.

We will be OPEN as normal the nest of the week.

Ever wondered what bicycles we don't like people buying?

Well here's our top 3 worst bicycle styles to ride and maintain.

The aim of this post is to spread some helpful educations information about poor quality bikes. To help people to make a more informed choice when buying a bicycle.

Don't be mistaken, we will continue to work on these bicycles for as long as they are being used.

We are always open to offering all the information we can to anyone that ask. Although we sell second hand bicycles we know they aren't for everyone, but we are still very happy to help you make the best choice possible.

Looking to buy a new bicycles and just can't tell the difference between them, feel free to pop into the workshop and show us your options. We are very happy to breakdown what is good and bad about each one to help you.

Did you know that we are a Not For Profit Business?

Ever wondered what that means?

Well here's a little break down for you, treat yourself.

~We aim to make minimal profit but any we do make is channelled back into the business to improving the service.

~ Everyone that works here is a director of the business, meaning we don't have any bosses or shareholders skimming off the top of the money we earn.

~ All of our workers are equal and share all responsibilities of running the business, we are currently a 3 person operation.

~ We keep our running costs as low as possible to keep prices down.

~ Products are priced at or below recommended prices.

~ All of our employees have taken a slow pay cut over the past 4 years from the Living Wages Foundations recommended minimum wage to the governments national minimum wage. In an effort to keep costs affordable for our customers through the cost of living crisis.

People Before Profit is something we wholeheartedly believe in.

Second Hand Bicycles For Sale

Everyday we are preparing more bicycles for sale, we aim to add them at the every end/beginning of each week.

We aim to have a variety of sizes and styles of bicycles that are on average priced between £100-250.

Every bicycle comes with a 1 month minimum guarantee, this typically covers any minor adjustments that may occur or any faults that may show up after fair use.
Although all bicycles are checked and test ridden before being put on sale this does not compare to regular riding.

We also have a wide range of additional accessories that may be requires; lights, locks, helmets, mudguards, luggage racks, bags, baskets, bells and much more.

With a 10% discount on any additional accessories purchased at the same time as a bicycle.

So if you are a looking for a new second hand bicycles, pop down to the workshop and take a test ride on the one you like 🚴
