🌿 A little post about our sustainability 🌿
We think it’s important that you know about the small steps we take behind the scenes to make our floristry as sustainable as possible. ♻️
🌸 Plastic waste — almost every wrap of flowers arrives in plastic! We make sure this is all recycled through our wholesalers, Flowervision Norwich, who also take our cardboard waste.
🌱 Green waste — all of our green waste is recycled rather than going to landfill.
💧 Water — any water left in our buckets is used to water our garden, giving it a second life and helping to keep our flowers growing.
🏺 Reuse — we reuse products wherever we can, including glass vases and other containers, rather than buying new each time.
🌿 Oasis — we try to use as little floral foam as possible. Most of our designs are created directly in water, or we use more sustainable techniques such as moss and chicken wire structures.
We know there’s always more we can do, but we’re constantly looking at ways to reduce waste and make more sustainable choices within our business. Every little step helps. 💚
