It was all worth it, the journey, new experiences, so many stories, new friends, old friends, new acquaintances, so much to take in, so many new possibilities, new avenues and audiences to explore and to introduce KOBO A-B to.

These three box based artworks hark back to a series of earlier and similar box artworks I made thirty years ago. The three works pictured are entitled ‘Harmony’ (調和 Chōwa, from left to right : Harmony, Space, Balance, which was something that came to my mind while I was making them during the lockdown in March. After finishing them, I realised that the process of their creation had been a comfort to me and that they were both a reflect and repose to my being over the lockdown period.

The isolation and emotional demands on everyone this year have weighed on us all, perhaps more so on certain individuals in our society than others?

In an attempt to help in my own small way, Will be donating 30% of the proceeds from each artworks sale will go to the charity ‘Mind’. Please DM me if you are interested.
