That's a wrap on this round of our Walk Wheel Cycle Trust funded beginner maintenance workshops! 🔧

Thanks to everyone that attended! We hope you got some tips on looking after your bike, and also a go at picking Tim's brain 🧠

If you didn't get a spot, we hope to run more sessions in the future! AND.... stay tuned for some more events coming up including a community ride! 🚲

On Saturday the 15th, we celebrated 15 years of Bicycle Links with our Birthday Fair and WHAT A DAY it was! A huge thank you to nearly 150 members of our community who joined us in the yard 🥳

Firstly, a massive thanks to our superstar volunteers, who gave up even more hours of their time to help us plan, prep and set up! We couldn't have done it without you all 🧡

Thank you to all involved on the day, including the Lord Mayor of Norwich, who provided top judging in our bike-themed cake competition, the Sheriff of Norwich (The Sheriff Hat), and Norfolk celebrity, round-the-world cyclist George Kohler, who hosted our raffle 🎂🎫
Many thanks to our brilliant local partners with their stalls, including New Routes Integration, Norwich City of Sanctuary Ambassadors, Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, and the Women’s Cycling Safety Audit - Norwich, many of whom are vital to our social projects 🙌🏼

Throughout the day, we were kept refreshed by the wonderful Social Bites, run by local charity Social Moments Enterprise - they smashed it with delicious waffles and coffee to keep us going. Thanks again, and check out the great work they do! ☕

And the backdrop to it all was our stunning new mural by Joey La Meche, celebrating the beautiful diversity of our community. It was an incredible event, and great to get together for the first time to discuss the impact we’ve all made over the years. Thank you all for joining us and for your continued support. Our community made the day 😇🧡
