My heart sank today when Darcy shouted ‘Mummy I’ve planted the strawberry!’...I thought NNOOOO not my strawberries!! Turns out it was the last plant that didn’t fit in the planter...she’s taken it as her own & I’m pretty impressed with how well she did it!! 🍓💞 Adds quite nicely to the onions she planted amongst the roses 😂😂

How have everyone’s VE Day celebrations gone? Loving seeing all the pictures on fb!
I only found out yesterday that I wasn’t working today, so didn’t really have time to plan much, except put up some bunting 🇬🇧 (we’ll make up for it tomorrow with scones & jam 😋)
We had our compost delivered, so we went to Plot 49 & made our first bed, all ready for planting into next week! Came home with some fresh rhubarb from our neighbour too 💞

It’s a digging in the mud kind of day 🤷🏻‍♀️ Found ants 🐜 and worms 🐛 so far...!!
