Just added this sweet SS Clown from the same collection of late 40's puppets from the original owner.
Lots of you will know the character called Clever Willie, the clown who juggles a baton using the strings added to the top of the control.
This Clown had a very similar construction made by the owners Dad! Didn't he do well!? I have left the strings as they are as they work so well for him to play around. He can kick the ball and throw it up.
Condition is very good, just a little bit of paint loss on his nose.
He is available tonight £55 and would give lots of entertainment.

Here is 'Dandy' and he certainly is looking the part. Super condition from the original owner who has cared for all his collection since late 40's. He is available now from the shop.

We've added a few early brown boxed characters including this very rare Wonky Lady. Check out the members page for previews before they go on general sale.

It's your last day to earn Loyalty Points, then you only have until end Sept to use all you have. A new scheme will start in the Autumn.
It's been very successful and most buyers have used the Red coupon which is worth £5 off an order, multiple times, one buyer saved points and used the Green coupon for a whopping £100 off their order, treating themselves to a very reduced Scottie Dog!
The more you saved the better the reward.
A few customers still have lots of points to use, so check what you have and browse the shop, we have lots of new stock coming over next few weeks.
To use the points easily we have added a £££'s for Points coupon which will make it even easier to use up your points!

Hope everyone is doing ok and finding puppets on your wish list. I am doing my best to bring the best condition puppets to the shop for you. I am offered puppets daily, sometimes several emails or phone calls in one day. So, you would think I'd have lots of new stock but I am turning almost everything down. I am being very careful to just buy rare or, if common, excellent condition puppets.
Don't forget we keep a wish list for you, this means you get offered the puppet before it goes for open sale. Make sure you have completed the form on the website.
This Witch will be on the site this week along with Goldilocks and a very nice early Donald Duck.

We are buying nearly all our stock from original owners nowadays. It means we have more control on how much has been done to the puppets in terms of renovations and restorations. We think if you are paying hundreds of pounds for a single puppet, you need to know you have a valuable asset for possible resale in years to come.
We have some lovely condition puppets from early 60's from a single collection owned from new.

It's twins! We have had two sets of twins to the shop! Don't you just love them?! Or is it just me😆
So, I do wonder if the artist at the factory in late 40's and there were only a few at the time, was the same person, what do you think?
