Now all my couples and venues know, I have a little update for you all.
I have decided to sell Prestige Events And Weddings.
For the past 18-24 months, the thought of selling Prestige has been playing heavy on my mind.
I built Prestige way back in 2015 from scratch, it has always been my baby and my passion.
I put absolutely everything I had into the business and have been part of so many magical memories over the years.
However, in January 2021 we welcomed our daughter into the world in the middle of lock down and things changed, something in me shifted.
I went from a business owner, who was fully focused on work and always working on becoming bigger and better to becoming a new mum in lock down.
Over the past couple of years, I have juggled running Prestige alongside looking after and raising our daughter. However, with no childcare and my husband running his own business this hasn't been easy.
Running a business in an industry that never sleeps meant we were missing out on so much family time and looking at the bigger picture, our daughter is only going to be little once. We can always make more money but ultimately, we can never get more time.
I got to a point where I felt I couldn't be a 100% good and present mother and give the business my 100%. So, something had to give, and unfortunately, this is Prestige.
This has been a lengthy process and something that I have been thinking about for a very long time and in my mind, there was only ever one company I wanted to sell Prestige to.
If I was going to sell up, I wanted all my couples that had booked me to be in safe hands and I wanted to ensure my clients still got that Prestige service but with an Epic twist, along with the beautiful products Prestige has always offered.
I wanted Prestige to go to a company that has the same drive, passion, and love for weddings and events that I once had.
So, as of 1st September 2023 Epic Event Hire Will officially take over from Prestige Events And Weddings.
I have absolutely loved working in the wedding industry, being a part of so many happily ever after's and creating beautiful set ups.
I want to thank all of our couples for booking with Prestige Events And Weddings over the years and putting your trust in me to decorate and style your Wedding / Event.
And a huge thank you to all the venues, wedding planners and suppliers who have always supported us over the years.
Epic will most definitely deliver, and I cannot wait to see how far they go with the business while I slow down and enjoy some much-needed family time.
