They say there’s no “I” in team…
…but what if you can’t find “we” either?

When people don’t feel they belong, performance drops. Ideas dry up. No one takes risks. You’re left with a room full of “me”, not “we”.

Listening (and drawing away) to at last night, it was clear that if you found the foundation of ‘belonging’, that was where you found the ‘we’ in team – it’s the foundation for courage, standards and showing up for each other.

Even as a solo entrepreneur, I form a team with every client I work with. My job is to ask: what can ‘I’ contribute so that ‘we’ can do great things?

Meet For Good is doing great things and I’m so grateful to be part of this community that’s just won an award for exactly that. Go team!

When your in a room with ’s (Sports Broadcaster of the Year) and he tells you that care for your audience is the foundation of good communication, your hearing it straight from the horses mouth and I’m taking note…literally!

Ed doesn’t make himself centre stage, he plays a supporting role and chooses to celebrate others.
His focus is on utilising all of the tools and the team at his disposal to tune into the tone of the event he is broadcasting.
That way he can do the best job of communicating with those who have gifted him their attention.

Ed spoke like a true champion at last night’s event, hosted by Pete Rhodes and at .parry . Ed made it all about everyone around him so I hope this helps celebrate who he is and what he shared for all of our sakes.
