2000 Guild USA Starfire III.

Cracking guitar!

I believe Guild’s first (American) revisit of the famed Starfires since their original inception in the 60s.

Every bit as good as their contemporaries, wonderfully built and features a proper ‘Guildsby’ (Guild-branded Bigsby!).

Available now on my site, with original hard case.

Affordable 50s Gibson alert!

Here we have a beautiful 1956 Gibson ES-22T.

I bought this as an incredibly clean guitar which had been stripped of all its original parts.

I was however fortunate enough to source an original hot 50s P90 (with original ‘UC’ stamped cover), a 60s Bigsby and rosewood bridge and nice repro parts to bring it back to life.

It is now a wonderfully playing, surprisingly versatile 50s hollow body thinline. Free of breaks, in beautiful condition and with a lovely, very comfortable big old 50s neck profile.

Comes with an 80s fitted Gibson TKL hard case.

Yours for £2499.99.

1971 Morris Japan ES-175 clone.

A very, very nicely made recreation of a ‘71 175.

These are not your typical Japanese-made Gibson-influenced guitars - Toshio ‘Mori’ Moridaira was one of Japan’s earliest domestic Gibson importers, having actually visited the Kalamazoo plant in 1965 and was given the nickname ‘Morris’.

Near no detail was spared on this, down to the ‘Zigzag’ tailpiece, ABR-style rosewood-mounted bridge and a very cheeky headstock shape. Even the neck profile is identical to a ‘skinny’ ‘71 ES-175.

Atop of this, it is factory-fitted with very early Maxon-made PAF clones.

Beautifully built by a man with a strong direct link to 60s USA guitar culture to the exacting standards of Japanese guitar factories of time.

The closest thing to a ‘71 ES-175 at a fraction of the price.

1974 WEM Dominator MK III.

About the cleanest example I’ve ever seen of one of these amps.

This same model was recently revealed to have been Noel Gallagher’s go-to in the early Oasis days for both studio and live use.

This one comes with its original WEM-branded cover and even the often-lost schematic for the benefit of servicing.

Fully-serviced and ready to go. I’m asking a mere £699.99 on my site for this beautiful amp - buy it before I keep it!

Peter Hook’s Bassman Ten.

Yes, you read that right - this beautiful 70s silverface was owned by Peter Hook and used on the soundtrack for the soundtrack of the 2000 film ‘The Beach’ (feat. Leonardo DiCaprio). It was also used on all the bass tracks for New Order’s ‘GET READY’.

Last sold at auction in 2019 for the ‘Peter Hook Collection’, it is fully-document as having being purchased by Peter from Sounds Great (Cheadle) in 2000 and comes with the CDs it was used on.

I have had it fully serviced (not much work was needed) and it’s a fantastic bass amp in its own right, boasting a colossal 4x 10’ speakers, 50w of power and importantly - a master volume (drive tones at a reasonable volume!).

A great amp with cast-iron provenance tying it to one of the most influential bass players of the 20th century.

Silvertone USA model 1457 dating from 1964, complete with its original case with built in amp.

Sears’ all-in-one solution for the burgeoning guitarists of the 60s, complete with a tiny valve amp built right into the case! It even has a tremolo sound and while not the loudest amp in the world, sounds very sweet. And it’s fully serviced (but being USA-made, will require a step-down transformer).

I’m asking a mere £750 on my site for this one - worth it just for the guitar in my opinion (this being the superior 2 pickup, full scale version - offers a lot more in the way of tone than the 1-pickup version).

I see a red door…

Behold, in all its glory - an original Vox Mark VI ‘Acoustic’, made in Italy circa 1967.

So named for its hollow body, as opposed to the solid model that Brian played.

All original, complete with its bridge guard, Vox case and even the original keys!

Available now!

Hello guitar people… check check, is this thing still on?

I’m swinging by instagram to announce the sale of a true ‘holy grail’ amp - a 1963 Fender ‘Brownface’ Vibrolux.

It has had one single owner who purchased it from Selmer brand new (as such it’s a UK export model - no step-down transformer required!). It even includes the catalogue page which they scribbled on ahead of purchase. 95 Guineas it cost originally, about £100. I wish!

Non-meddled with, clean with and a new speaker/plug for safety. Oh, and of course the d-cap has been removed!

Exceptionally clean otherwise, re-capped with the originals included for provenance.
