Each of these students is currently studying different divisions of business at the Darla Moore School of Business. The team consists of both second and third year students at the university. As a team, we have drawn up a plan in order to successfully market a product and a service in England that we feel is going to be successful because there is no product or service like Timeless Ties. Ties was created because, as students and future business professionals, we saw that there was a need that needed to be filled in the business wear. We designed Timeless Ties with English men in mind, asking ourselves overall question of “Who wants to spend a ton of money on a tie they are most likely going to wear once?” We chose to market the product in England because England has over 94 prestigious universities, serves as the hub for many European international companies, and has a plethora of formal events for upper class individuals. Our most important buyers are those of the upper middle and upper classes. But, we do not want the lower class to feel that they can’t afford to wear a quality tie every so often. That is why we have invented the Timeless Tie kiosk. With this new innovation we are revolutionizing the way that ties are purchased. By providing customers with the opportunity to pay a small rental charge for a three-day rental period we are allowing diversity in the office setting.
