I did it! It’s up and available to watch 😁 Hooking and Stitching on YouTube, #44 and it’s a WIP parade! I hope you enjoy seeing everything I’m working on, and a little guest appearance from old lady Darcy cat at the end xx (Also big thanks to my husband - my technical support manager!)

Absolutely gutted 😞 I filmed a flosstube yesterday, first one in almost two years, and I can’t get it to export from my editing software. I spent all day on it yesterday, a whole day and gave up last night. I’m going to try again, I’m going to try and make it shorter, film in 1080p instead of 4k. It’s so frustrating! If anyone has any tips I’d be grateful- I’m filming on an iPhone 14 Pro, I upload to a MacBook and use iMovie to edit. Exactly the same as I used to before, but the phone is upgraded. If you did see a flash of my face on YouTube yesterday it’s because I realised the video was only half of what I’d filmed and I took it down.

Birthday Start! I had no plans to start something new on my birthday, but I was at work when an email popped up from Etsy to remind me of some charts I’d favourited 😂 it’s far too convenient to have it downloaded less that five minutes later!
I’ve started Fruit Dove Frenzy by Boomerang Stitches on 18ct white aida. The colours in this are gorgeous!

Time for a restart! I started this Mill Hill kit ages ago, but I absolutely hated stitching on the perforated paper. I know there are frames available now, but my main issue was the needle just falling through the holes.
I decided to restart it on 14ct Aida and I’m so glad I did!

Another 1400 stitches added to Whimsical Village 9 by Tam Stitch designs on Etsy- just look at those colours! So beautiful together, I love stitching on this. I’m working 1x1 on 25ct easy count by zweigart

I did a thing!! I actually FFO’d something 😂 I was so inspired by hack of finding frames in charity shops- that I popped out in my lunch break, found this gorgeous gold/bronze frame and used it to display my gorgeous Nora Corbett Snapdragon 🤩 The bronze beads around her wings match the frame beautifully. I just need to find her a wall space to live on now ❤️

The cat is done! I’ve spent the past couple of days working on February. There is so much more stitching in that cat than it looks. I’ve also popped a couple of the darkest pinks in there too, hopefully I can get this finished the next time I bring it out 🤞🏻
