It’s going to be a busy one so if you wanted more time to browse I’d suggest visiting before 12pm when the march reaches the market!

The soap maker I was working with has unfortunately ceased trading and as much as I’d like to get elbow deep in lye, being nearly 8 months pregnant is probably not the best time to take up soaping again πŸ€ͺ

My workshop was too hot to work in today so I tested opening the shop instead which is usually cooler.. I lasted 45 minutes before I had to throw the towel in.
The shop will next be open this coming Saturday when hopefully I can maintain a temperature under 30c!

This candelabra did a good job of mimicking me in the shop this past weekend. The candles flopped over in the end, made me jump out of my skin because they were on the shelf right behind my head...and I took it as a sign to close early πŸ˜‚
Interestingly, those candlesticks were the only thing to perish in the heat - the only wax in the shop I hadn't made with my own hands! πŸ‘€

I've been reading we're due another heatwave soon, with July 11th predicted to be the hottest day ever recorded in Nottingham πŸ₯΄
I'm getting as much done as I can in these slightly cooler periods (it's still 30c in my workshop πŸ₯΅) but there's a good chance the shop will have to close again and no orders will be shipped if the weather hots up again.
I.E. Don't delay in making an order if you need to receive it early July because I'll be in hiding!🫣

Measuring 40 x 38 x 14cm this bag will last you years as it’s made of super sturdy heavy duty 475gsm organic cotton canvas - it's tough!
It features two sized handles (so can be worn over the shoulder) and has a stud closure. It has a β€˜boxy’ bottom and is large enough to hold your laptop with room to spare.
