Every day that Bloom & Spoon is open, we'll be hiding ONE Pirate's Coin somewhere in the sand pit... 👀🪙

🌸 🌼 Dave's Plant of the Week – Echinacea! 🌼🌸

If you're looking to add a splash of long-lasting summer colour to your borders, Echinacea (Coneflower) is a fantastic choice! 🌿 Bursting into flower through summer and well into autumn, these hardy perennials are loved by both gardeners and pollinators alike. 🐝🦋

🌱 Dave's top planting tips:
-Plant in a sunny spot for the best display.
-They thrive in well-drained soil and are happy once established.
-Water regularly while they're settling in, then they'll cope well with drier spells.

One of Dave's favourite tips? Don't deadhead them all! 🌾

Leave those beautiful seed heads standing over winter. Not only do they add interest to the garden during the colder months, but they're also a valuable food source for birds, who'll happily feast on the seeds when food is scarce. 🐦❄️

A plant that's beautiful, easy to grow, pollinator-friendly and supports wildlife through winter... what's not to love? 🌸💚

Join us on Friday 21st August 2026 at 11:00am for a fun-filled morning that's perfect for little ones! 🐻💛

Each child will:

This week, Dave is shining the spotlight on the stunning Allium – a real summer showstopper that's loved by both gardeners and pollinators alike! 🐝💜

Featured in this week's video are two fantastic varieties:
✨ Allium 'Millenium'
✨ Allium 'Norbet'

Both produce beautiful globe-shaped flowers that add long-lasting colour, structure and plenty of interest to your borders.
