After the huge amount of support we received last year and incredible amount of money raised for the kids were really wanting to fundraise again this year.
The 5th anniversary of William’s amputations came and went in March but due to waiting for a surgery date, we couldn’t plan. However now we know when his surgery is, and when he will hopefully be back on his legs, a new challenge is incoming!
This has all been decided by the kids, no pressure from us. On the 5th of August they will undertake a 5K walk followed by a 5k cycle, all on one day, to mark 5 years of surviving, and thriving!
This is significantly further than last year’s challenge and William will have to dig deep and get training as soon as he gets the go ahead following his upcoming leg surgery.
William asked if we could raise money for Sepsis this year, as well as ‘the hospital that saved my life’ as he calls them!
not only raise lifesaving awareness of Sepsis but also fund groundbreaking research to try and understand it better and create better treatments. Nottingham Hospitals Charity are of course incredibly close to our hearts and the work they do really does bring light to patients and families on their darkest days.
I really do appreciate you’ve all supported William so much already, but if you can donate, we would be so grateful. It would be amazing to see lots of £5 donations for his 5th year kicking Sepsis’ arse. Another brilliant way to support is to share, maybe share with 5 people? (We are going big on the 5 theme! 😆)
allows you to choose which charity to support and we’d love to raise equal funds for both 🩵💜
Thank you all so, so much! 💙
