I’m a little wedding florist & flower preservation artist…. & I’m tired! 🥹🥹

I have sent out a many emails last night to my lovely brides and newlyweds updating them on how busy this season is for florists in general but also especially for me and my little team ✊🏾 who have been managing weddings AND the important details and process after your wedding too!!!

It just means we have extra work on our hands here, when your big day has been we’ve still got you. and gone we still hold you and you. Caring & working with them on their next phase of life too!!

So thank you all for being very kind and patient, I am taking a week off to recharge to be able to come back ready to “press on” 😏

I’ve found running my own small independent business is always hard to know when to stop and the reason I’m choosing right now is so I don’t burn out and not make it to the other side (the end of the summer season) 😅😅

I think some things are worth keeping and making by human hands.

I’m not gonna pretend I don’t use it but only to help assist me when it comes to organising and putting systems in place in order to help me juggle my busy little life 😅

I know this is a lovely problem to have, but I thought I’d share a little update on my bouquet preservation diary!

August is now officially fully booked for pressed flower preservation (thank you so much for keeping me so busy!).

If you’re still thinking about having your wedding flowers preserved, here is my current availability through to September. Once those spaces are gone, they’re gone, so it’s always worth booking sooner rather than later.

I unexpectedly have 2 July preservation spaces that have become available. If you know someone getting married next month who would love to turn their bouquet into a forever piece of art, I’d be so grateful if you’d send this their way!!

One little piece of wedding advice from someone who honestly receives panicked bouquet preservation enquiries almost every weekend…

If there’s even a tiny chance you want to keep your bouquet after the wedding, have a plan for it before the day arrives.

After your wedding I know and you know, you’ll be busy enjoying being married, looking through photos and most probably hopping on a plane to get to your honeymoon.

So I’d love to know… had you already thought about what happens to your bouquet after the wedding, or is this the first time you’ve considered it?

I’m learning (as a mum of 3, wife & small business owner who crazily decided to also homeschool her kids) that there’s something really special about paying attention to the everyday things, amongst all the chaos too. It’s the little moments, the bits of unexpected joy, the memories that seem small at the time. Somehow, those are often the ones that stay with us!!

My question is how to stay in this place? Even when life throws the huge to do list at you?!
