2026 Peach State Classic – Tiger, Georgia
Back home from the 2026 Georgia Peach State Classic in Tiger, Georgia after another good weekend of racing.
Coming off the ROAR Nationals, it was nice to get right back after it. I ran Pro E-Buggy and Pro Nitro Buggy this weekend and had good speed in both classes.
E-Buggy was definitely the highlight of the weekend. After finishing 2nd in the first round, I was able to win Q2 and Q3 to take the overall TQ, and then finished it off with the Pro E-Buggy win.
My Tekno RC E-Buggy was really good all weekend. The JConcepts Inc Green compound Relapse tires were my choice and gave me a really comfortable car with plenty of speed as the track changed throughout the weekend. The Team Cayote USA Electronics worked great, and my Flysky RC radio was perfect again.
One of the biggest equipment highlights for me was getting more time with the new ProTek RC RM 650S servos. They were awesome all weekend. The Peach State track definitely put the equipment to work, and the 650S gave me the speed, feel and consistency I was looking for. Really impressed with them after putting them through a full race weekend.
Nitro Buggy was more of a battle. I had good speed throughout the weekend and was right in the mix during qualifying. After 30 minutes of racing in the main, I was able to come away with a 3rd-place finish. Not the win I was looking for, but another podium and a solid way to finish the weekend.
My Tekno Nitro Buggy was solid all weekend, and the ProTek Samurai RM.1 engine once again gave me great power, consistency and reliability. The JConcepts Green Relapse tires worked really well in Nitro Buggy too, and the new ProTek RC RM 650S servos handled everything the track threw at them.
A big thanks to my pit guys Sean VanDalen and Martin Sawinski for all the help throughout the weekend. Having good people in the pits makes a huge difference, especially when you’re bouncing back and forth between electric and nitro all weekend.
Thanks to Julien Oliveras with JConcepts for keeping me dialed in on the tire side and making sure I had what I needed throughout the event.

Thanks to Mark Moon for putting together a great Peach State Classic and Brian Burnette for the fun track build. The layout was challenging, fun to race on and kept us working all weekend.
And of course, thanks to Adam Drake for the service and everyone else behind my program who continues to make these weekends possible.
Overall, coming away from Tiger with the TQ and win in Pro E-Buggy and a podium in Pro Nitro Buggy made it another productive weekend.
The equipment continues to work, the program keeps getting better, and we’ll keep digging.
