While everyone else is enjoying summer, I’m already surrounded by stockings, embroidery thread and Christmas orders in the workshop.

And actually? Starting early is VERY kind of chic. ✨

No December panic.
No last-minute “what on earth do I buy them?”
Just time to choose those lovely, thoughtful gifts you know they’ll actually treasure.

The summer holidays are full of magical moments... and endless snack requests, "Muuuum!", and trying to keep little ones entertained. 💛

One of the best things about shopping small? 💛

Sometimes you can send a message at 9am... and by 3:30pm your order is ready.

This morning a parent got in touch hoping for two beanbags before their sons returned from holiday. They're giving their bedroom a surprise makeover while they are away.

I smiled because it instantly took me back to doing exactly the same thing for my own daughter years ago. I still remember the excitement on her face when she walked into her new room.

So I got to work.

There was just one hiccup... I only had enough fabric for one beanbag! 😅 My wonderful husband dashed to the fabric shop while I carried on sewing, and a few hours later both beanbags were finished and ready to go.

It's one of the things I love most about running a small business. You're not just another order number. If I can help make something special happen, I'll always do my best.

If you've been following me for a while, thank you for sticking with me through all the changes over the years.

Momma Bear Kids has grown just like my own family has, and I've realised it needed two homes.

My keepsakes and memory bears are now over at Momma Bear Creates, while this page is dedicated to something I've loved for years...

Creating personalised children's beanbags.

As a mum, former teaching assistant and now nanny to a growing family, I've spent a huge part of my life around children.

One thing I've always loved is seeing a child find a little spot that's theirs—a cosy corner to read,relax, imagine or cuddle up with a favourite teddy.

That's the feeling I hope every beanbag I make brings.
