🍭 Sweet Treats by Jade is closing! 🍭

As much as I enjoy creating sweet cones and other sweet treats, this year has been super quiet, and its just not worthwhile to continue doing it.

I commend anyone who makes money on sweets 🤣 I definitely can't do it, but thankfully I never did it for the money - I always did this for the joy of it and it was my creative outlet alongside my day job.

For info - it costs:
🔹️ £1 per 150g sweets (mainly because I used Haribo & Kingsway quality sweets)
🔹️ plus packaging, ribbons & bows approx. 80p per cone,
🔹️Stickers - about 50p each but sometimes more a time as I outsource them.

That makes the cost to produce a sweet cone around £2.30ish and I only ever sold them for £2.50 to start with! 🤣🙈 (Plus I filled sweet cones with more than 150g sweets - always 180g-200g!)

So I do genuinely, break even, or make a loss on every cone, and nobody wants to pay more than £3 for a sweet cone, which I totally understand.

I valued the enjoyment I got from it, much more than the cost incurred in creating them, and I dont regret doing that at all. I’ve loved creating each and every one! But I have decided that in 2026, It's time to find a new hobby 😆
