Hello 👋. I hope you've all had a lovely start to the weekend! I've spent the last couple of days trying to catch up with my next Bear orders but have managed to pick up a cold from somewhere. As I'm feeling a bit out of sorts I'm having to set myself targets rather than sitting all day feeling sorry for myself. I've got lots of tidying up to do but as you might imagine thats last on the list of targets to achieve 😂😉. I've got a few projects cut out to sew sometime soon to. Hi everyone, how are you? I managed to get quite a lot of prep work done today in amidst the daily household chores, cutting the lawn and tidying around the garden a bit and doing the shopping. So whilst our dinner is now cooking I thought I'd nip on and say 👋. Yesterday I spent a few hours sewing a little Bunny; I've got the back to stitch up and the tail to add before she's finished but she's almost done. She's squeezed in the middle just to show her size. I've got a Memory Bunny in this style to complete this week so, I thought it best to re-familiarise myself with this pattern as I've not done one for quite a while. Tomorrow as yet I'm not sure what I'll be getting on with as I have physio again.....right smack in the middle of the day, so I'll decide on my plans in the morning. But for now I'm chilling for a little while. Enjoy your evening everyone. X Helen

Hi everyone. A busy week doing this and that this week. I've managed to cut out two Cuddle Ducks and my next three Memory Bears and last night I started on a Crochet Cuddle Doll. I thought I was doing so well on the latter until I realised I'd used the larger hook for the head as I'd almost finished it 🫢. No wonder it was coming out so big and taking up a lot of yarn! I've also finished crocheting a Bear; I've just got to finish putting him together. Today I've had a bit of a brain freeze.....trying to put 24 pieces of A4 paper together to assemble a pattern......it shouldn't have been so difficult but today it was! It gave me a headache so I had to have a nap 😂😂. Any excuse! Wish me luck for tomorrow; I'm going to attempt to cut it out! I'm now chilling out after a late tea. Hello everyone! I hope you've had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend. We've had time to spend time with friends and family over the weekend and today Hubby and myself paid a little visit to the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum in Coventry. It's the first chance Hubby has had to see Dippy the Dinosaur. They'd also got artifacts found in and around Coventry plus a display on Coventry's history of Ribbon and Weaving Industry as well as other exhibits. We also got to see the underground Chamber; which we didn't know existed until the lovely Kate told us it was there and showed us around. So quite a nice day all in. We got home around 3pm just in time for my next completed Memory Bears to be collected and begin their journey home. Thank you Joanna and Zuzanne for your commissions. Hello everyone! Have you enjoyed the thunder storms and rain. We sat and watched a storm in the distance last night and then were treated to one the early hours of this morning with plenty of rain. I can now share two extra small specially commissioned Memory Bears and they have Button Eyes and Belly Buttons taken from the clothing provided. Both arrived home safely today. Hello everyone! Over the last couple of days I've not only been working on Bears but I've also been working on two new makes, one of which was gifted today to a little girl on her Christening Day.
I enjoyed making both; the first a Sheep Cuddle Cushion. The second a Cuddle Duck. I think the Cuddle Sheep; although I like it may not be to everyones taste so your thoughts would be welcomed. She's a little bit quirky with her long, skinny legs and arms. I love the Cuddle Duck and am hoping to make more of these. I hope youve all had a lovely weekend.....it's certainly flown by! X Helen

Good morning everyone! This morning I've been in my workshop stitching out personalisation for my current Bears and an embroidered Giraffe for my Mum, who is working on a little project herself for a friend. So that's two more little jobs I can tick off my 'to do' list. I'm hoping that by the end of this week I'll have four Memory Bears all ready to return home. Next week I should have some more fabrics arrive for my next order and whilst I wait for that I'll be getting on with my next two Wedding Mice and another little gift for an up and coming Christening. I've also got a Crochet Bear on the go to, that's going to keep me out of mischief in the evenings! But for now I've got washing to get on the line, and breakfast to have all whilst planning out my next move for the day. Have a good day yourselves, speak soon. X Helen
