Good afternoon! I've been in my workshop for a little while doing a sample embroidery stitch out. I like to do a sample piece just to make sure there's no glitches that might spoil a project. This one stitched out lovely. Now to decide what to make as a final piece! I've got a couple of designs to do as samples; hopefully today I'll get them done. For now though I'm stopping for lunch. Hi everyone! Over the last few days I've been preparing the fabrics for my next orders and have cut out four Memory Bears ready for stitching; which I hope to start next week. I've had a few issues with one of my machines but am due to collect it from the Service Engineer tomorrow so I'm hoping to get back on track; fingers and toes crossed that repairs have done the trick! Today I've been working on two little Wedding Mice and these should be ready to return home next week. Unfortunately, I have no pictures to share just yet! For now though I'm tired so its time to say goodnight! Speak soon. X Helen

It's lovely when you receive photo's that you can share of Bears in their new homes. I received several yesterday, some of which I've been asked to keep just to myself but I can tell you that it was lovely to see the children with their Bears. So, thank you Deb for sharing them with me. I do appreciate it. X Helen

A little late in the evening but my latest Memory Bears to return home have now all safely arrived in their forever homes. In memory of a lovely Mum and Nanny. Thank you for your consent to share Deb; I'm so pleased all of your family love their Bears. X Helen

Well, how many are watching the England v Norway game? I keep dipping in and out of it whilst getting on with a few bits and bobs and sorting little jobs I don't want to get up to in the morning. I can now share though a couple of gifts that were delivered the other day to the Granddaughter of close friends; a crochet blanket and snuggly turtle. Enjoy your weekend everyone. X Helen

Hello everyone! Are you nice and toasty! Apart from nipping out this morning I've hid myself away. This weather albeit too hot is lovely but I'm not able to go and enjoy the outdoors as I start to fry as soon as I set foot outside. So today, I was in my workshop early just to get a few little hearts embroidered. They've now gone off in the post. I've also been working on two Wedding Mice and their little dresses are well underway; I just need to decide on their finishing touches now before they are complete. Tomorrow morning I've got to pick up my new glasses but I do hope to be able to get a bit more sewing done if I don't get distracted whilst out and about. Bears sent off on Monday have safely arrived so I should be able to share them all with you once they've been given out over the coming weekend. Trusting the post is definitely nerve-wracking! Anyway, I must get on.....hubby is wasting away at the other end of the sofa......so I need to get the tea on! But before I go here's a little Memory that a friend reminded me of a few days ago. Made in 2016.....where has that 10 years gone? I wonder if she's still loved. Take care everyone. Speak soon. X Helen

Good morning everyone! Well its been a busy couple of weeks. Eight Memory Bears all complete! One started his journey home at the end of last week and seven should be starting their journey very soon. They're all packed and ready to go. I've got 4 wedding mice to finish over the next couple of weeks . The mice are made, they just need their little outfits before they set off in time for the big day! Next on the 'to do' list are two much smaller bears that I need to get cut out. Over the last couple of days I also managed to get a little hand stitched Fox made; he left for home yesterday....I'll share him soon to and finally a little handmade gift for my Sister for her birthday. It was something I wanted to try; I'm not sure how successful it was as I wasn't entirely happy with it but she loved it. I used a travel jewellery box as a base to create a little travel sewing kit. Hopefully it'll come in handy! I'm not sure what my plan of action is today yet but I know tidying up my creative mess will be part of it! Take care everyone and have a great day! Speak soon. Hello everyone, how are you all? How are you coping with this heat? I've been hiding behind closed curtains and have had a fan going all day. I don't know if its because it's been so hot today but this evening we're sat in the garden enjoying the cool evening breeze and it's glorious....I'm seriously considering camping out on the outdoor furniture tonight! This week I've been embroidering out personalisation for the Bears I really need to finish. I have managed to get one Memory Bear completed and he'll start his journey home on Friday. I hope I'll be able to share him with you all very soon. I'll be at home working tomorrow so hope to make more headway on the Bears I have to finish. My apologies to all on my waiting list as I am well behind at the moment but i will be in touch with you as soon as I'm able to. I've just had so much going on lately and juggling the day to day has been a struggle! But, take care everyone over the next few days and I'll speak to you all again soon. X Helen
