Its a lovely day for some carburettor work on this Mountfield SP164

Another mower sold this week was the Kingfisher FPLMP129. This was acquired as a non-runner. A large ethanol build up was found in the carb. This was removed and the carb stripped and cleaned. The mower was then fully serviced and cleaned, and it was snapped up by its new owner shortly after.

A little Einhell in for its 2nd annual service with me.

Although this isn't the worst carburetor I have seen, its the most amount of ethanol I have removed from a carburetor that was still running, albeit poorly. I took advantage of a break in the rain to whip it off this cheap Sumec engine and give it a thorough clean. Its now running well and will be serviced later this week ready for sale.

Second sale of the weekend for this Stiga SB 50 Multiclip. I picked this up as a working mower that was running rough. A carb clean and a service was all it took to get it running like new for its new owner.

I sold this little Mountfield SP164 today. It came to me as a p/x and was in quite a neglected state. A couple of years of storage had taken its toll on the fuel system and rusted the carburetor beyond repair. A full service and a new carburetor had it back running as new for many more seasons of service for its new owner. Thanks for your custom!
