💥IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ 💥

A few months ago, we met a wonderful customer who shared the heartbreaking story of her father, Dave. Tragically, Dave lost his life while defending a woman who was being subjected to inappropriate behaviour and comments.

Dave was a devoted father to three daughters, a proud grandfather to three grandsons, and by all accounts a true gentleman. The world needs more people like Dave.

After getting to know the family, Dave’s daughter asked if we could help with a house clearance when the time felt right. Over the following months, we stayed in touch and built a meaningful relationship with them. Their story deeply touched our entire team, and we wanted to give something back in any way we could.

Through organ donation, David Alan Darke has already helped save four lives, giving four families the gift of more precious moments and future Christmases with their loved ones. His legacy continues to make an incredible difference, and you could help do the same by registering as an organ donor.

We are proud to support awareness of both One Punch Kills and Organ Donation, causes that are incredibly important to Dave’s family and to us.

A school desk and chair lovingly restored to its original design.

When this piece arrived with us, it was looking worn, tired, and heavily stained. One of our team carefully dismantled it, sanded it back, carried out the necessary repairs, and repainted it to bring it back to life.

The result is this stunning restored desk, full of character and ready for many more years of use.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any before photos, but trust us when we say this desk was in need of some love, and we’ve given it exactly that.

What makes this restoration even more special is that it coincides with a milestone for one of our younger team members, who has officially finished school and will now be joining us more regularly. As they begin this new chapter, they’ll be contributing to our work and helping us continue our commitment to supporting the community.

It feels fitting that a piece of school furniture, given a new lease of life, marks the start of their journey with us. Here’s to new beginnings, preserving the past, and continuing to make a positive difference in our community. ❤️✨
