*Grafham stocking*

This Tuesday Grafham got a further stocking of Rainbows 🌈

Grafham is now fishing to a weekly rod average of 16 and 14 for the month.

As a reminder Grafham has an extremely limited boat fleet, but the banks are fishing well

Please take extreme caution when wading, particularly on the south shore as it can be extremely muddy/silty. A wading staff and PFD is recommended

We are looking at very strong westerly winds tomorrow (Friday the 9th), as such:

All boats have been cancelled at Grafham
All single boats are cancelled at Rutland, Pitsford and Draycote

A decision on two man boats will be made in the morning. Draycote water and Rutland in particular can feel worse than the forecast in a big westerly

Grafham 10.21

More 🐟 for Grafham this week in the autumnal sunshine.

Grafham is fishing to a stonking rod average of 8 for the week - so these fish should keep the exceptional sport going

As a reminder we only have 10 boats on the water at Grafham, but the banks are really starting to switch on 🎣

Due to the low water level please take care when wading the natural banks, a wading staff is recommended

From tomorrow (October the 1st) Rutland fishing lodge moves to winter opening hours, so will be open 8am until 2pm.

This brings it in line with the other lodges that all close at 2pm.

*Friendly Pitsford competition, all welcome*

On the 17th of October we will be hosting a new AW fly fishing boat competition called "a challenge of two halves"

Fishing as a pair, anglers must fish in the small half first, and then can only proceed to the big half once they have caught a fish. All boats can move through to the big half at 12pm whether they have caught or not. Full details on the attached poster.

They'll be prizes for the top 3 boats, taken from the £10 entry fee.

There are two price options, a price which includes the day ticket, entry and boat fee per person and then a price option for bronze, silver and gold season ticket holders, which is boat and entry fee.
