August has certainly kept us on our toes at Summerdown 🌿

From long, hot days and very little rain, to a challenging harvest, it’s been a month of firsts in more ways than one. Jo, our Chief Mint Officer, looks back on a month that’s tested the team, the crop and our mint-growing know-how but with plenty to be proud about of along the way.

Here’s to the people, plants and perseverance that keep Summerdown growing.

🌿 A day of wellbeing, creativity and essential oil magic.

Our Essential Oils Retreat Day, hosted by consultant aromatherapist Shelley Baker, began with pastries and coffee before a tour of the farm, hands-on aromatherapy workshops creating bespoke products using our oils, grown and distilled here, followed by a delicious lunch.

With Summerdown herbal teas and chocolates enjoyed throughout the day, it was the perfect opportunity to slow down, learn and reconnect with nature. ✨

A recent stay made even more special ✨

Some special guests recently joined us at Summerdown to celebrate a milestone birthday, spending a few peaceful days in one of our shepherd’s huts. During their stay, they captured the most beautiful footage of the meadow, from golden sunsets and quiet moments, to the flora and fauna that make this place so magical.

We’re delighted to share a glimpse of their experience and the wildlife that calls Summerdown home. Many happy returns Carl 🌿
