MS260 in for some work, saw had been sat for a while and owner wanted to get it back to work. Tank was dry but the saw felt “gummy” on pull over. Much like peeling an onion every layer revealed new issues, each one worse than the last to the point you see here. I had it running, unbelievably considering the crankcase wasn’t sealed properly and a piston had bits chipped off the skirt.

Cost of genuine parts to get this back to former glory? Over £450 (It needed a bar, chain, chain brake assembly and oil pump as well as pot and piston and gaskets etc.) Customer declined 😂 It’s a shame but it makes sense

Price Update!

As is always the way, business costs are increasing and I do try to offer the best bang for buck that I can but I can't work for free!

Services for Push/Self Propelled Mowers now start from £45
Services for Ride Ons now start from £95
Call out including first hour labour is now £40
Travel for collection/drop off is now £7.50 upto 5mi £15 5-10mi £22.50 10-15mi

This will come into effect from 1st May.

You'll still continue to receive the same great service and timely turnaround, and I will still do what I can to add value to what I do, thanks guys!
