EDINBURGH, WE’RE HERE. ⚓️

The doors are open, the sheepskins are out, and Anchor & Steam: On Passage — EDI is officially underway.

We’ve brought a little piece of the west coast to Broughton Place. Think considered homeware, home fragrance, natural textures, coastal pantry favourites and, of course, our own speciality coffee to take home.

And there’s a little coffee collaboration happening too. We’ve teamed up with on Broughton Street, who’ll be serving our Open Water beans throughout the four days. So you can shop with us, then head around the corner for a proper cup.

We’re here until Thursday, 22 October, so if you’re in Edinburgh, come and have a browse. You might just find something you didn’t know you were looking for.

A CHANGE OF SCENERY. A NEW ADDRESS. ⚓️

There’s something about the west coast that’s hard to leave behind. So, for four days this October, we’re taking a little of it with us.

Anchor & Steam: On Passage - EDI is almost here. A change of coast, a different setting, and a collection of things we think are worth discovering.

Considered homeware, beautiful scents, natural textures and a few west coast favourites. Familiar things, somewhere new.

Our next chapter takes us to Edinburgh. We have a feeling you’ll want to see this one for yourself.

🎧☕️ ANCHOR & STEAM WRAPPED: YEAR ONE.

37,000 unique visits.
1,025kg of coffee.
60 events.
6,321 flat whites.
And a frankly unreasonable number of early starts.

From opening our doors in Oban to taking The Coastal Pour on the road, our first year has been one hell of a ride.

We’ve hosted an Easter egg hunt, supported local raffles, tombolas and community events, met some brilliant people and somehow ended up with two dogs on the team.

Swift remains CEO. Dotty is the apprentice. 🐾

But behind every number are the people who made this year what it was. Our regulars, friends, neighbours, fellow small businesses and everyone who welcomed us along the way.

Thank you for making our first year what it was. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you. ❤️

EDINBURGH, WE’RE ON PASSAGE. ⚓️

Oban to Portree. Portree to Edinburgh.

Apparently, we don’t like sitting still.

This October, we’re bringing Anchor & Steam to the capital for four days at .withnoname, taking a little bit of the west coast with us.

Expect sheepskins, home fragrance, coastal pantry favourites, ceramics, homeware and coffee bags. A few old favourites, a few things for the Christmas list, and plenty worth popping in for.

Two brilliant spots. One little piece of Oban in Edinburgh.

We’re also teaming up with on Broughton Street for a little collaboration. Throughout our time in Edinburgh, they’ll be serving our Open Water beans, giving you the chance to try a taste of Anchor & Steam while you’re in the city.

BIADH has dropped off a batch of their seriously good sandwiches, and they’ve landed alongside the usual coffee and sweet treat lineup at the shop today.

Harris, Lismore, Tiree and Iona - four very good reasons to rethink your lunch plans.

They’re already going fast, so if you’ve been meaning to try one, don’t leave it too late.

LAST DAY ON SKYE. ⚓️

And just like that, we’re on the final day of Anchor & Steam: On Passage - PRT.

Five days in Portree, and we’ve absolutely loved it.

We’re here until 6pm today, and - as always with an Anchor & Steam pop-up - we’ve brought enough stock to keep the shop looking full from the first day right through to the last.

So there’s still plenty to see: sheepskins, home fragrance, ceramics, coastal pantry favourites, coffee and plenty more.

Come in, see it all in person and let’s start building those Christmas lists.

And if you find something you love but don’t fancy carrying it home, we’re offering free shipping across the Highlands & Islands until Christmas.

At 6pm, hopefully there won’t be too much packing away.

Saturday, from both ends of the operation.

Portree: Aaron is surviving.

He’s back at Anchor & Steam: On Passage - PRT today, with coffee supplied by the very good people at birch.coffee and the shelves looking suitably stocked.

We’ve also launched our new diffusers in Portree - now available alongside the rest of the Anchor & Steam collection.
