Why is beetroot used in gin ?

Beetroot actually works surprisingly well in gin, both botanically and aesthetically. It’s increasingly being used by distillers as a non-traditional botanical to add color, earthy sweetness, and complexity to a gin’s flavor profile.

Why Keeping It Original Is Best in a Gin and Tonic

There’s a reason the classic gin and tonic has stood the test of time. When it comes to this timeless cocktail, keeping it original allows the simplicity and balance of flavors to shine. A well-crafted gin offers layers of botanicals—juniper, citrus, herbs, and spices—that are perfectly complemented by crisp, effervescent tonic water. No need for over-the-top garnishes or complicated mixers. The beauty lies in the purity: cold, clean, and refreshing.

Big news, Gin lovers!
We’re thrilled to share that Gin Chin is now being served at The Mill House in Hook! The Mill House in Hook is a charming pub and restaurant housed in a Grade II listed watermill with roots dating back to medieval times. Located in North Warnborough, Odiham, Hampshire, this historic building features original beams and floors that have warped and tilted over hundreds of years, creating a unique and atmospheric setting.

Swing by for a taste of our refreshingly bold small-batch gin — crafted with botanicals, good vibes, and a whole lot of spirit.

Whether you’re a G&T purist or a cocktail adventurer, there’s a glass waiting for you.
Cheers to new beginnings and local sips!
