There’s something special about seeing an artist’s work in the place where it was created. 🎨

From 22nd–31st August, the annual Hampshire Open Studios trail returns, giving you the chance to discover artists across our local area as they open their studios and creative spaces to visitors.

We’re delighted to see so many of the artists we work with at The Frame taking part. It’s a lovely opportunity to see where their work is created, meet the people behind the art and discover more about their inspiration.

And if you find a piece you love and need it framing, bring it along to us. We’ll help you find just the right frame to complement the artwork.

✨ Now exhibiting at The Frame: Simon Pink 🎨

We’re delighted to be now exhibiting the work of Berkshire-born artist at The Frame. Known for his large, colourful and wonderfully expressive landscape paintings, his work is inspired by a lifelong fascination with the natural world. 🌿

From exploring the countryside as a child to travelling across the world, his experiences have shaped the landscapes he creates today. Working directly onto canvas, he captures the feeling and emotion of a place, creating paintings full of energy, colour and movement. 💚

We’re so pleased to have Simon’s work hanging in the gallery. Pop in and discover his paintings for yourself. ✨

🔥 Fresh from the forge…

Sarah’s been unboxing these brand new pieces from Belltrees Forge, hand-forged candlesticks and traditional pokers. 🖤

Crafted in the West of Scotland, each piece is individually made using traditional blacksmithing skills - heating the steel in a coal fire before hammering and shaping it on the anvil. 🔥🔨

We love the character and craftsmanship that comes from something being made by hand, to be enjoyed for years to come.
