Two of my favorite new dahlia varieties are 'Little Robert, and 'Rocco' and also I have another dahlia new to me that im in love with , but I have no idea which one it is as it was supposed to be Marble ball, but does not look like that, but its lovely so im not disapointed.

That's it for sunflowers, I should have kept up with the sowing, but as usual I have been chasing my tail.

There is no getting away from the fact that this is a tough season, lt has been very hard to keep everything producing, thankfully I still have enough flowers to keep taking bouquet orders, but am anticipating a shorter production season.

I had a request for a blue and white bouquet, I always find blue a tricky colour, as so many blues are quite purple. I was quite pleased with the finished bouquet, and just love using grasses, I need to add more perennial grasses to my collection.

It is another British Flowers Week, and I am one of many committed growers, growing beautiful environmentally sustainable cut flowers.

I commit to using only British Flowers in my floristry, so I guess every week is British Flowers week for me 🙂

I grow flowers on my cut flower plot, near Hatherleigh and Okehampton in Devon.
