Hatherleigh Pottery

We are currently working on a 3-week turnaround in The Framing Loft at Hatherleigh Pottery! Pop in and see us before we get the crazy Christmas rush (I know, I’m sorry, I said the C word before we’ve even had Halloween. But in my defence, Rich and I have been making C word stock since the beginning of September. We even went and tagged our tree at the weekend 😳🎄😆)

We won’t mention the “C” word just yet, but the year is running away from us!

We’ve been filling the shelves with lots of new work, plus some other stuff from makers who make us smile! Even shop cat, Earl, approves! ☕️🍶🏺🕯️🖌️

Your little local Pottery Shop is now also your little local Picture Framers! 🖼️

We’ve been keeping a little secret 🤫🤫
(Although not very well, as the orders have been coming in thick and fast)

Back in March, we made a deal with Laura, Darren and James of Sapphire Framing to take on the local picture framers. They’ve been training us behind the scenes and getting us ready to hand over the reins to us. We relocated all of the equipment back in April and we’ve been learning and framing from here ever since.

We are proud to say we now offer a bespoke picture framing service - handling artwork of all shapes and sizes, with specialist equipment and hundreds of frames and mounts to choose from. 🥰

Pop in and see us - we can’t wait to show you around! Open Tuesdays-Fridays from 10AM-4PM, Saturdays 10AM-12PM.

A little reminder ✨🎄

Tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd December is our LAST DAY in the shop this year! The shelves are a little sparse, but we still have lots of lovely handmade gifts if you’re looking for something last minute. 🥰

We are open from 10AM to 6PM tomorrow - pop in and see us at 20 Market Street (the big red house, three doors up from Tally Ho Hatherleigh!)

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas,
Rich and Cal x

The twinkly calm after the storm in little old H Town. 🎄✨

Thank you so much to all of the late night shoppers who braved the sideways rain and howling wind, we were so thrilled to see so many of your smiley faces at the pottery, despite the weather. 🥰

If anybody didn’t manage to pop up and see us last night, we still have lots of lovely bits and pieces in the shop and we will be at Hatherleigh Market’s Christmas Fair this Friday and Saturday 🎅🏼🎅🏼
