The canopy/roof soffit area shown in the photograph has sustained damage, including a hole and signs of water ingress and deterioration. I would like to carry out repair works to restore the damaged section, improve its structural integrity, and make it more water resistant.
The proposed works will involve installing a waterproof plastic membrane or heavy-duty plastic sheeting over the affected area from the top roof surface to prevent further water pe*******on. From the underside, the damaged section will be covered and reinforced using exterior-grade plywood sheets securely fixed around the affected area to enclose and protect the damaged opening.
All repair materials will be fitted to provide a weather-resistant finish, prevent further deterioration caused by rainwater, and improve the overall condition and safety of the canopy. The works are intended as remedial repairs only and will not alter the size, appearance, or use of the existing structure.
