🌈 Tomorrow I'm wearing my other hat as a proud member of the Oldham Pride Committee! 🌈

We have an incredible day in store as Parliament Square is transformed into a vibrant celebration of Pride, packed with entertainment, community stalls, and fun for everyone! 🏳️‍🌈✨

Here's what you can look forward to:

🎪 Explore our fantastic stalls in Parliament Square, across from the iron railings, and inside Oldham Market (Lower Tier).

🎨 Get into the Pride spirit with OPAG, who'll be on hand painting the town rainbow with fabulous face painting.

📸 Capture the memories with our photo booth next to the Odeon.

⛪ Take a stroll up to the church, where Common Word will be performing inspiring poetry. While you're there, pop into the church café and show your support.

🎟️ Try your luck on the raffles and tombolas, with some amazing prizes up for grabs—all supporting fantastic local causes.

🥤 Feeling thirsty? Head over to The Thirst Responder on Firth Street, grab a refreshing drink, soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy the festival vibes.

🥁 Don't miss the spectacular Pride Parade, setting off from the Old Market Hall and weaving through the town with our energetic samba band, colourful dance troupes, and a sea of rainbow pride!

🎤 Then join us back for live entertainment from 1:00pm.

It's going to be an amazing day full of love, laughter, inclusivity, and community. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!

We are very proud here at the community market that we have managed to fund another bleed kit , this time for the amazing Oldham Street Angels who work tirelessly to help and feed the homeless of the borough . All volunteers just like us giving there time for others and with the help of Defibrillators Save Lives we sourced the kit to make life just a little safer and easier for them . This is now live on northwest ambulance circuit .
