When the bride says her bouquet was “everything I wanted and more” 🤍

What a lovely review this week from Ellie, after creating her bridal bouquet for her wedding at the weekend.

Ellie chose a beautiful combination of white roses, delicate gypsophila and blue thistles — simple, elegant and with that gorgeous touch of blue.

We know how much thought goes into every little detail of a wedding, so hearing afterwards that the flowers were exactly what our bride had imagined really does mean so much to us.

And then she sent us these beautiful photographs too… 🥹🤍

💙 This photo was taken not long after Judd made his rather unexpected entrance into the world… 😂

Today my youngest son Judd turns 10 — and his birthday will always be tied to the beginning of Petal Bloom for me. 🌸

Ten years ago today, Judd was born at home on the landing, with no medical person there — just me and his two big brothers, who were 10 and 6 at the time. Here they all are a couple of hours later, still in their pyjamas, looking like it was the most normal morning in the world! 😂

While I was on maternity leave with Judd, Petal Bloom was being built. We didn’t actually open our doors until 1st February, when he was four months old, but those first months of having a newborn and building this little business happened side by side.

And somehow… that was 10 years ago. 🥹

Petal Bloom has grown, Judd has DEFINITELY has and there have been a fair few flowers, cakes and cups of tea along the way! 😂🌸☕

Happy 10th birthday, Judd. 💙

🎨🦔 A creative afternoon at Petal Bloom! 🌼

We had something a little different going on in the tearoom this afternoon with a hedgehog painting workshop 🎨

Lots of painting, chatting and cuppas — and we absolutely loved seeing all the different finished creations! Just look at these little hedgehogs 😍🦔

Thank you to everyone who joined us this afternoon. It was lovely having you all at Petal Bloom 💚

And we even had the cutest little helper joining in while mum painted 🥰

Well it’s been a week!!! 🙌🏻

You have kept me so busy and I am forever grateful 🙏🏻

Just having 5 minutes whilst I can 😴

Treated myself to a scone with jam and clotted cream with a cup of tea n oh my god it was heaven 😋

Feeling so blessed to have been kept this busy

I appreciate every single one of you

From funeral arrangements to welcome baby bouquets, wedding flowers to anniversary bouquets…and first date ones too amongst all the tea room customers and our ever growing balloon orders - I LOVE being a part of every special moment in your life’s.
