Hi everyone. I’m going to be closing this page at the end of February 2026.

For those that didn’t know, the Personalised Gifts Ormskirk shop closed in July 2025 when we came to the end of our lease.

We’ve now opened a different shop in Ormskirk called Wyld Haven, with the same premises but a completely new direction. It’s now all crystals, incense, jewellery and alternative gifts.

I don’t do custom personalised orders anymore, but you may still see the odd handmade item or design by me, themed around the new shop.

Hi everyone, it’s Michelle, long post alert 👋

Sorry I’ve not updated sooner. When I closed the shop in July, I said something new was coming, it’s taken a bit of time to get everything right and we wanted to be sure before sharing properly.

We’ve now reopened as Wyld Haven, and the shop has changed a lot.
It’s a calmer, more creative space with carefully chosen pieces we love, alongside a few little bits we design and make ourselves, ready to buy.

A couple of familiar faces have popped in expecting the old personalised setup, so just to explain, I’ve stepped back from custom orders for now. The custom personalised print model wasn’t workable long-term, and this new direction feels right for us. Pete may take on the odd personalised job if he has capacity, but there are no promises and there will be a waiting list when he can fit them in.

This is a new chapter and a different feel, and we hope you love it as much as we do. It finally feels like “us”, relaxed, welcoming and a nice place to mooch, breathe and enjoy a bit of calm.

This was actually my teenage dream, and even though it took the scenic route, we got here.

🌙 “Time for a New Chapter…” 🌙
It’s been a very emotional few weeks.

Firstly, I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s messaged, checked in, or sent kind words our way. 💔😭
Your support has meant more than I can ever explain — honestly, it’s kept me going.

This time has also given me space to reflect on what really matters — in life and in business — and after lots of thinking (and a few tears), we’ve made a big decision.

As we come to the end of our current lease at the shop, we’ll be taking a short break after the Gingerbread Festival. But don’t worry — we’re not going anywhere. We’re getting ready to relaunch with a new name, a fresh look, and something that feels more “us”.

Before we close for a little while, we’ll be at the Gingerbread Festival this Sunday — both in the shop and on our stall — with lots of our current stock heavily discounted to make room for what’s coming next.

The Ormskirk Gingerbread Festival is almost here!
🕙 Sunday 13th July | 10am–4pm | Ormskirk Town Centre

Get ready for a day full of live music, stalls, food, kids’ activities and brilliant community spirit. Shops and makers are preparing, volunteers are hard at work behind the scenes, and the whole town is coming together to make it one to remember.

🚌 Need a lift into town?
Thanks to Charlton Minicoaches Ltd and Edge Hill University, there’s a FREE Park & Ride running throughout the day from the university to Ormskirk Bus Station from 10.30am-4.30pm. It’s a quick, easy way to get straight into the action.

🌞 Hot weather is expected — please come prepared:
– Bring sun cream
– Wear a hat
– Stay hydrated
– Take breaks in the shade when you need to

🙌 A huge thank you to the Ormskirk Air Cadets, who will be supporting Ormskirk Community Partnership on the day, alongside so many other brilliant volunteers who make the festival possible.

This Sunday, Moor Street will be full of energy as part of Ormskirk’s Gingerbread Festival — with a buzzing artisan market, live music, and plenty more to enjoy all day long!

🎶 The main stage will host a great mix of live performances, bringing festival vibes right into the heart of town.

🛍️ The artisan market by The Market Co will be packed with fantastic stalls offering handmade crafts, tasty treats, and unique finds — perfect for browsing as you soak up the atmosphere.
