Part Time Sales Assistant Wanted

We are looking for a new team member to join us here at Vapour Worx Ossett. The successful candidate will be covering our busy Saturday shift (9am-5pm), with availability for additional cover when required (with notice).

Responsibilities will include:
- Provide excellent customer service while offering product recommendations, tutorials and potential trouble shooting
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organised shop environment
- Handle cash and card transactions, operation of both a cash register and card machine
- Answer any customer enquiries over the phone
- Maintain and update inventory and sales records
- Reporting of daily sales
- Opening and closing the shop

Requirements:
- 18+ years of age
- Strong selling skills with a focus on customer requirements
- A good working knowledge of va**ng products and a keen interest in current and upcoming trends (essential)
- Basic maths skills
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and good time management

Additional training is provided, so availability in the lead up to the start date is preferred. Competitive rate of pay (plus additional perks).

Start Date: Saturday March 30th 2024

There will be a slight change of hours over the weekend due to the bank holiday. On Saturday we will be opening at the slightly later time of 10am until 4pm, and we will then be closed on Monday.

Just a reminder that we will be closed tomorrow for Good Friday, so if you need to top up on your essentials, or fancy a shiny new bit of kit before the weekend, you should call in today before 6pm!

We will be open as usual on Saturday, but will be closed again on Monday for the bank holiday. Enjoy the long weekend everybody! 🍻

Easter opening: Just a bit of prior notice that we will be closed for the Easter bank holidays on Good Friday and Easter Monday. We will be open as usual on Saturday 9am-5pm though.
