A rather lovely and unique Painted Pine Chest of Drawers from the famous Portmeirion Estate, North Wales.
The beautiful village of Portmeirion was designed by Welsh architect Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, and this once plain chest was decorated in Clough Williams-Ellis style ("Cloughed - up"). The term "Cloughed - up" is an invented term to describe something that has been altered or modified - with the attention to aesthetic detail - by Clough Williams-Ellis.
