We've had lots of lovely new Trixie goodies delivered today! 📦🚚🐾

We were especially excited to see the kitty deck chairs arrive, as Annie had already decided she wanted one! 😹 Luckily, we ordered enough that she could claim hers and we still have some left for the shop! 🐱⛱️

They're a little too large to send using our standard postage service, so we haven't put them online. However, if you'd like one and can't make it into the shop, please get in touch and we're sure we can sort something out. 😊

Plenty more Trixie kitty wonderfulness has arrived too – we'll be sharing more very soon! 🐾📦

We had a delivery today to top up our beautiful Bug Art greetings cards - including these two gorgeous new designs: Cat Pattern and Meadow Cat 🦋

Bug Art cards are fabulous quality with gold foil embossing for that purrfect finish that looks much prettier in real life than in a pic 🖼️

Little Annie has always loved to help with the home improvements work, from when she was a kitten right up to now! 😹

Whether it's building the garden office 🪴, installing the cat flap 🐱, renovating the kitchen 👩🏽‍🍳, gardening 👩‍🌾, trimming hedges 🌳 or - our latest project - building the summer house ☀️ - she is a very multi-talented cat! 🐈‍⬛🐈

The Oswestry Balloon Carnival is back in just 3 weeks' time! 🎈

If you've never been before, it's a fantastic free family day out, packed with fun and entertainment... as well as balloons of course! Donations in support of the event's chosen charities are always very welcome. ❤️

And if you're visiting on the Caturday, why not pop into Cat World while you're in town? We'd love to see you! 😸🐾

Oswestry Balloon Carnival returns for 2026!🎈

The much loved Oswestry Balloon Carnival will return to Cae Glas Park on August 22nd and 23rd 2026.

Bringing a weekend of colour, entertainment and family friendly fun back to the heart of the town.

Organised in association with Nightingale House Hospice, Oswestry Town Council and Oswestry BID, the annual event has become a firm fixture in Oswestry’s calendar, attracting visitors from across the region while raising vital funds for hospice care.🩵

Across the weekend, visitors will be able to enjoy the spectacle of hot air balloons taking to the skies, weather permitting, alongside live entertainment, local performances, interactive activities and a wide range of food and craft stalls. The event is free to attend, with visitors encouraged to make a voluntary donation to support the essential services provided by Nightingale House Hospice.

The Oswestry Balloon Carnival 2026 promises another unforgettable weekend, celebrating community spirit, local culture and a shared commitment to supporting a vital local charity.
