Oswestry is still a market town with lively street markets and speciality artisan markets throughout the year. The indoor market is bustling with an eclectic mix of stalls. The centre piece of the town is the traditional park, with its wonderful floral displays and live events thorough the summer. Don’t miss the food festival or soaring Hot Air Balloon Carnival. It’s summer! So why not take you and your family down to Park Hall Countryside Experience for some fresh farm fun?
They’re offering up a wholesome and varied weekly itinerary, Dino Week this week, Wild West Week next, and so much more. They’re offering a new host of things to enjoy every week! They’re also offering up a £24 per person summer pass, allowing for unlimited daily visits right up to the 31st of August, so the summertime farm fun doesn’t have to end with just one visit. Which is amazing because there is so much to do there! From animals and tractors that you would expect to find there is also soft play, Victorian school room, maize maze, Welsh Guards Museum, trenches, play street, and even that doesn’t cover everything! So get on down to the Farm and get involved!

Visit Oswestry run these tours and they are of interest to locals and visitors alike. Our next tour of the season will be on Wednesday 29th July at 2pm and your guide will be Phil. For the last year, we’ve been celebrating individual or small clusters of the makers we show here in the Tourist Information Centre, but this week we want to celebrate them all!
