The Back Box Repair Clip has been crowned a Professional Electrician & Installer 2021 ‘Top Product’ award winner.

The clip has been designed to instantly replace a broken thread or lug, on the inside of metal UK electrical back boxes. After removing all snags from the inside of the back box, the clip simply pushes on with ease, and due to the tensioning and calibration of the clip, it will remain firmly and securely in place.

The product is made up of two components. This enables face plate levelling if the clip isn’t positioned exactly in the centre of the box, this replicates the feature of all UK metal back boxes.

By having this small, lightweight product in their toolbox, your customers could save the arduous and time consuming task of ripping out the problem box and prevent the added expense of re-plastering, re-tiling, re-painting etc.

- Lock in place side clip design:
ToughLEDPro features side fastening clips that can be secured into a 90 degree position to ensure they don't get in the way during installation or when attaching to the diffuser.

- Detachable 4-way terminal block
A detachable 4-way loop-in, loop-out terminal block that can be positioned in four locations along the base to meet any cable entry point.

- Surface conduit mounting guides
All fixing points are marked on the outside and inside of the ToughLEDPro base. Pilot guides are provided to ensure accurate pre-drilling and secure fixing of BESA conduit boxes.

- Unique two-part IP65 rear gasket

Sick of installing back boxes by hand? Ever thought of trying an SDS Plus driven system? Well now is the time with the limited edition EBS Starter Kit.

The kit features a twin-cut SDS round cutter (which is unique to this set) and an SDS Square cutter, all supplied in sustainable card box packaging.

Saving tradesmen thousands of hours, the box sinking process utilises the round cutter to create a 78mm diameter hole. The square cutter then chisels out the corners to provide a square shape for back boxes. It is ideal for use with soft brick & medium density block.

Our partner have launched a new AFDD solution. Equipped with built-in advanced diagnostics software, every Hager AFDD device benefits from the technology, ensuring that unwanted or operational trips are quickly detected and easily identified.

Did you know that AFDD (Arc Fault Detection Devices) can significantly reduce fire risks? Unlike circuit breakers or RCDs, an AFDD utilises electronic technology to analyse the signature (waveform) of an arc. When a potentially hazardous arc occurs, the AFDD will automatically trip the affected circuit and protect you from fire accidents.

Following the publication of Amendment 2 of the 18th edition wiring regulation on 28th March 2022, the use of AFDD's have been made mandatory in certain types of installations:
