We have a few new wines on the shelves, one of them a South African Chenin Blanc blend from an old Rooibos tea plantation.

Hand picked, naturally fermented and finessed in old oak.

Aromas of ripe citrus and peach with savoury, gently nutty notes. The palate has firm, high-key fruit, a gentle, sandy texture true to the vineyard soil and persistence.

Intense ruby red in colour. On the nose, there are vibrant aromas of red fruits and floral nuances - courtesy of the Touriga Nacional, On the palate, it is well-balanced, with smooth tannins and a lively, refreshing acidity. A perfect food wine with excellent structure and a lingering finish.

Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé!
Red wine made from Gamay grapes, it is a vin de primeur, fermented for just a few weeks before being released on the third Thursday of November. And that is today!

No Stu this week, just a really nice bottle of Priorat.
I had a glass recently in another wine bar in Oxford and I just remembered how much I love it!
This is our Priorat, available among 200 other bottles of wines from all over the world.
BTW tomorrow we are changing 2 wines in the Enomatic, one orange and one red. Surprise!
