COVID-19 strikes the watch industry. Sadly, Baselworld 2020 has been postponed until January 2021. This was announced soon after Switzerland’s Federal Council banned events for more than 1000 people. Personally, I’m doubtful this will have any tangible impact on the larger retailers, but a lack of exposure to smaller boutiques is a real concern.

Morning read with a daily be**er, MWC Army Watch from 1991. Questionable history behind this watch: it is believed to have been produced by the MOD to trial as an RAF watch but never passed the acceptance tests to become an issuer watch.

An investment piece, or any over-hyped watch with a bubble to burst? Production was originally believed to be limited to sub-1000, but now numbers are past 3000. Regardless, a great watch with a British twist, especially with the nato strap.
