The Story Of The Blue Tank Pt2 💙
You may remember the first story of the blue tank from the Pop Up in October - if not you can look back a few posts to the pic of two women in a tug of war with it and read the story there

Well the story continued…
When I got home I found another one hiding in a stock box in our shed. I contacted Helen, who’s a dear friend, to let her know. I thought the moment may have passed but she was delighted. I was going away so left it in a brown bag in our wood shed by the front door, for her to pick up when passing.
A few weeks went by and Helen got in touch to see if the tank was still available. Not seeing it I just presumed she’s picked it up. I looked in the shed but it wasn’t there. Had someone taken it?? Josh didn’t know anything about it and I couldn’t find it anywhere in the house.
Then we had a lightbulb moment, could it have got taken with the Riverford empty boxes? Josh remembered moving it, not knowing what it was, when we had a wood delivery that week and placed it in with the empty boxes.
I called and they said they’d ask their depot. I asked our delivery guy that week but he didn’t remember anything, he did say they have brown fruit bags so he could have just thought it was one of those.
A week went by and no word, another week…this time it looked like it really was time to let go
And then the phone call..the blue tank had been found. The key person had been away and it had been forgotten about. The joy! I didn’t dare mentioned to Helen until I had it in my hands. When delivery day come that Friday tjr delivery guy and I had such a laugh, when I told him the story.
Helen now has her blue tank and already they’re enjoying lots of adventures together
Helen does a lot of land based work and is an artist and art therapist. She has also dipped in a body of water everyday since Winter Solstice 2017.
If you’re in Oxford and like movment I recommend her Rivers of Life - Body and Earth sessions that run outside the last Sunday of every month

Dear Community
It’s been a while since i’ve posted. Soon after announcing last summer that I was coming back with Pop Ups, life took a wild turn. I’m now living in a cottage down in South Devon and beginning to enjoy the good life here.
Josh and I are no longer partners but will always be good friends in this life. And Indigo was a huge part of our life together, one we didn’t see coming but gifted us so much.
So I’m sorry for the silence. It’s been a time, that needed time.. in the uprooting and unearthing that these times bring. Oxford was home for 37 years and will always have a big piece of my heart. Indigo was a huge part of this time and enabled me to connect with wider community, including the camaraderie of other local business owners.
When I was studying at Oxford Poly and frequenting the Cowley Rd at night, I’d never have guessed that one day I’d have a shop there…!
I still have some stock, so may do a Pop Up in Oxford later in the year. I’m going to close the website soon, that’s been a massive headache anyway! Will keep this account going and for now will be filling your feed with the beauty of what is now my home and I’d love it if you keep in touch.
At the moment I have no idea if Indigo will continue in another form, or this is it for me and retail and new work awaits me. I’m finding my feet here before taking those next steps. I’ve signed up for volunteering in the community run shop in my village, so will be behind the till again!
And I will be back visiting Oxford, and so hopefully cross paths with those of you there.
I hope you’re all finding your ground in these wild times, and what lights you up.
Thank you…for the magic and all the memories, together we created something pretty special.
With love, Sarah xx
