Almost ready for the SMLS Haywards Heath Show tomorrow. We are bringing plenty of recently acquired new material including –
- A new find of highly unusual apatite from Mpwapwa, Tanzania from the summer of this year
- Fantastic specimens from the 2019 find of zunyite from the Qalt-e Bala salt dome, Bandar-Abbas, Iran; these are world class examples of this rare species and we have examples both with and without the associated hematite that characterised this recent find
- Some truly stunning, vivid orange-red wulfenite from Chah Kharboze in Iran which in just a few years since the significant find there have become highly prized and sought after
- Unusual and striking cabinet sized desert rose selenite from Brandenburg, Germany
Other new material includes bournonite from Viboras, Bolivia with well formed crystals reaching 3cm, Spanish blue baryte with excellent colour from a new discovery at the Teresita Mine, Murcia and some excellent examples of classic bixbyite from the Thomas Range, Utah.
Looking forward to the show and hope to see you there.
